Grandma’s Table

Grandma’s Table started out to be a baby quilt — and would still make a great one — but once finished, the thirties fabrics in the quilt, combined with the clean freshness of the white sashing, evoked such strong memories of my Grandma Hardoin’s house dresses, worn each day as she worked around the house, that I decided it would be a great tablecloth for my small, vintage kitchen table. Now I will think of Grandma every time I walk into my kitchen.
