I love Frosting on the Cake!  The deep rich colors are stunning when sewn into cake stand blocks. Plus, I think the combination of blocks as a group really expands & shows off the texture & designs of the fabrics. BUT even more, I can’t wait to piece it again in 1930’s reproduction fabrics or contemporary pastels. I think Frosting on the Cake will have a great flavor with any kind of fabric choice — just like different cakes & frostings.  Enjoy!
